This is a space where the boundaries between science and art dissolve.

I'm Desirée Moffitt. I'm a biologist, educator, and microscopist. I explore the strange and beautiful world hidden in plain sight.

Equipment

All footage is captured using either my Olympus BX51 or Globe Delphi-X Observer microscope, both equipped with Differential Interference Contrast (DIC).

I record using an iPhone 14 Pro Max and an iLabCam Ultra adapter. It's proof that cutting-edge microscopy doesn't require a laboratory.
